ABOUT ME

James "Jimmy" Rubin

I have devoted my career to assisting individuals and businesses involved in employment disputes. Twenty-seven years of experience inform the advice I provide to my clients. My goals are to maximize the results for my clients while limiting the financial and emotional costs that are associated with employment disputes. I am an experienced negotiator, counseler, litigator, and trial lawyer. I am husband to Rebecca and dad to two college age boys and our dog. I volunteer for the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association. I play soccer and am an avid runner and mountain biker.

Flexible Billing

I track my time and bill you by the hour.  Used in defensive cases and when liability or collection is not readily apparent.

Flat

You pay a flat fee for a discrete task. Examples of such tasks are an EEOC mediation or a claimant-side unemployment appeal.

Hybrid

A combination of hourly and contingency.  The possibilities are infinite. I discuss these with you at an intial consultation.

Contingency

I recover only if you win or settle. Offered when liability and employer ability to pay are clear.
